TSUNAGI is an independent Cardano node implementation, written in Zig. This portable Preview release runs in follower mode: it connects to a Preview peer, follows the chain with ChainSync and BlockFetch, decodes and applies transactions, persists its local state, and reopens that state after a restart. It is not the build that produces TSUNAGI's Preview blocks.

Two different binaries, on purpose. TSUNAGI's canonical Preview blocks are produced by its separate producer build, which keeps running unchanged. This download is the follower release; its checksum is intentionally different from the producer's. The producer's live identity and status are on /status/.

Verify, install, run

Install the runtime libraries first (Debian / Ubuntu package names shown; any distribution package providing the exact SONAMEs liblmdb.so.0 and libsodium.so.23 works):

Replace PREVIEW_PEER_HOST:PORT with a reachable Cardano Preview relay — for example the public relay preview-node.play.dev.cardano.org:3001. Stop with Ctrl-C; running the same command again reopens the saved cursor and local state. Do not point this binary at another node's state directory.

legacyv2026.06.18-preview (June 2026)

Superseded for download by v2026.10.05. A CPU-specific build: it contains AVX-512 instructions (fails with Illegal instruction on CPUs without them) and predates the clean empty-home startup fix. Kept visible for provenance: release page ↗ (SHA-256 b93a60fe731cc381…).
